The team of guns and guests arriving for coffee at 9.30 a.m.
Some teams have breakfast at the farmhouse or stay the night prior to shooting.
When the guns have been welcomed and introduced to everyone.
Pegs for the day are then drawn.
We will move off to the shoot transport which will take you to the first drive by 10.00 a.m. The morning usually consist of three drives and a Sausage and Tipple stop ! Returning to the Cider House for a roast lunch, with drinks.
Two more drives will follow lunch, after which we should have obtained the bag for the day, when we return to the Cider House for tea, cake and drinks.
We usually shoot with teams of eight guns however we can accommodate seven or nine if you wish.
The
cost per bird is £30 - £34.00 plus vat,
a £1500.00
deposit on booking with the balance being paid
on the day.
We will not let the size of the bag go over the booked number, unless we have a discussion with yourself first.
If the bag is within 5% of the booked total you pay for the booked number, but extra birds over this figure will be charged for at the same rate.
Should
your team of guns fail to reach the bag but have fired
over 4.5 shots per bird we will charge for the booked
number of birds, if you have not fired this number of
shots you only pay for the number of birds shot.

We can offer full
accommodation and dinner to guns in the main
farmhouse,
all the rooms are en suite.
Accommodation and Farmhouse Breakfast is £32.00
per person, four course dinner is £25.00
per person and we do have a full drinks licence.
Should you wish to meet your guests here in the
morning we also offer breakfast prior to shooting
this is £10.00 per guest.
For many years it has been of concern to us the
number of plastic wads left laying around the
farm after shooting.
Therefore we are asking our guns to only use cartridges
with fibre wads, we will keep a supply of cartridges
at the farm, should anyone have problems buying
them.
